B&W Photo Challenge
It's been a while. I'm a terrible blogger, but I have been taking (some) photos, and posting them, too.
Last month I was nominated by a friend for the B&W Photo Challenge that was floating around Facebook. The conditions stated you could post old or new photos, and I had intend to try to post some new stuff, but I didn't take anything I liked. So I foraged through some older stuff, albeit no more than 6 months old.
There are a couple repeats here which I've posted previously, but I felt they were the best of what I had to work with.
Taken on a relatively recent photowalk outing organised by a local photography interest group, where I met another local Perth photographer who had attended Eric Kim's course in Melbourne, the weekend after the one I attended in Sydney. I'll probably post about that later.

Taken in Sydney at the Harbour during the Eric Kim workshop. I'm a bit torn about whether I prefer this one in colour or black and white. The original is heavily green, but I like the contrast of the black and white.

On a property neighbouring our airbnb accommodation in Busselton. Lots of stray parts and machinery. Overgrown abandoned bits have a nice visual aesthetic. So many wonderful textures to be had, especially in late afternoon light.

Duplicates from the Avignon and Arles posts. I'm kind of going off the scooter a bit. It looks nice and postcardy, but I feel it's lacking in some way. However, the suit and quad bike combination still amuses me.
